I decided to fade the flashback to make it clear when Jamie is talking in the present and when he's talking in the past.
Also, this confused my sister, so I'll explain. When Jamie says Astrid, he doesn't mean it was her. He's noticed her arriving. When he says 'Oh, no!', it's not 'Oh no! Astrid's here!'. He's explaining to Emma. Astrid wasn't there THEN: she's here NOW.
