Model: AkiraAkira has a large scar due to surgery resulting from abuse when she was a teen. She doesn't like anyone to know about or see the scar, but I'm trying to convey that it is a part of her beauty now.

Of course I understand that for her it's different cause she has lived the experience behind it and will always see it as something that 'stands out', but great that you're trying to help her accept it and make it part of her natural beauty

As in with other photographers you notice she is less expressive and at ease? Cause I do agree that her images with you are always very strong and intense and really convey feelings that most other photographers can't get through with 1 image.
