Let's travel forward in time. Let's go 50 million years hence in what is now Great Britain and Western Europe.When arriving there, we'll see a huge mountain range in what was once the North Sea and the English Channel, surrounded by large pine-forests. What kind of weird animals will we encounter. It's quite, untill we see a Hoofhen running from the bushes. This decendant of the modern chicken is being chased by 2 German Raptogs (Caniraptor Germanicus), decendants of the German Shepherd. Despite being bigger than the two predators, the Hoofhen doesn't stand a chance against the Raptogs and will soon be food for the hungry canids.

I have seen a lot of pictures of raptogs hunting hoofhens, so I have suspected that raptogs must really favor these birds. Do they?

Well Hoofhens are among the raptog's favourite prey, along with plenty of other large birds and mammals.

That would explain why I've seen a lot of pictures of Raptogs attacking Hoofhens. Impressive work by the way!

Excellent job! I love all of the movement and detail that you've put into this, not to mention the poses. You did well with the full view facial positioning of the first Raptog; it's the first time I've ever seen one of your animal faces in full view. The footprints also look good; I like how you didn't make them flat, but actually put some realistic depth into them. The coloring on the German Raptogs also looks nice, especially the brown part. I'd love to see more pictures like these, ones where your futuristic animals interact with each other and their environment. Maybe later on, you could do some drawings just showing the different kinds of ecosystems the animals will live in.
