Really bad concept for the background, sorry but thats my opinion cause Sam Fisher doesn't do local crime investigations. He's a Splinter Cell, a field operative. And beside Sam's daughter, Sarah, is killed by some drunk driver when she was crossing the street. Sam becomes a Double Agent so that he can sabotage a terrorist organization in the U.S. called the JBA.

It's not really a spoiler that Sam's daughter dies...It was on the Double Agent promotional site, BewareSamFisher.com for like half a year. I still gotta buy that game too!!!
