Every hero needs a villain. Superman has Lex Luthor, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have The Shredder, and Sonic the Hedgehog has this guy, Dr. Ivo Robotnik, better known as Dr. Eggman. But this take of mine only goes by his TRUE name. As always, he finds a powerful enemy in the blue blur that is the heroic hypersonic Mobian hedgehog, and a long, arduous battle between them will span across many epic adventures waiting to be told.

This is my redesign of the good mad doctor which I have shown before in a previous drawing featuring him alongside the Classic Sonic. I have merged elements from his Classic Archie/SatAM, modern video game and Sonic Boom incarnations into my own style. He's meant to be tall, imposing and physically fit.

Robotnik of my Sonic universe is normally a busy and stoic man who keeps quiet in the comfort of his headquarters and just gives his henchmen a sneer if they present themselves to him without reason. His sense of humour is mostly deadpan, but he could crack a quip if he's excited. His favourite meal is a double bacon cheeseburger with a salad bowl. He has studied at a vast variety of schools around the globe. He used to wear large glasses in the days before his dark turn.

So, how does he look this time? Tell me honestly. If something is worth noting to you, point it out.

BTW, when I spelled out his name, I had the Doctor Strange title card on my mind. And in case you're wondering, that is the purple Chaos Emerald in his left hand.
