This really captures his music, I think. In addition to the emotion and intensity in his face, you've got the subtle darkness , and, most importantly, a fabulous sequined scarf. So there you have it: Rufus Wainwright in a nutshell.

I just checked out youtube and realized that he's the one who sang "Hallelujah" for one of the Shrek movies. He did a great cover of that song so I'm quite impressed.

Ich bin nicht so ein Fan von seiner Halleluja Version, die von Jeff Buckley ist schon um einiges besser... aber ich mag den Song generell nicht so gern. Hoer Dir mal "Poses" an (das Album), wird Dir sicher gefallen wenn Du Halleluja magst.

Ja, waren ziemlich cool live, Grinderman. Hab die Studiosachen vorher nicht gehoert... aber das meiste find ich klingt doch sehr klassisch nach Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, wenn ich ehrlich bin. Vor allem das weirdere Zeugs.

Das stimmt, ich kann mich vor Konzert angeboten kaum noch halten. Aber es geht sauviel Geld drauf. Allein in bis Oktober geh ich auf 6 Konzerte von Lieblingsbands. Naechsten MOntag nochmal Rufus (gratis), dann Andrew Bird, Cold War Kids, dann wieder Rufus, Tori Amos, 2x Incubus usw. - und dann verpass ich noch die White Stripes (spielen genau an dem Wochenende, an dem ich in Wien bin, bugger!) und Muse und Dave Mathews Band und und und...

Der Hintergrund passt so auch, au wenn er leicht nervös ist. stören tuts nicht

Ja, der Hintergrund ist wirklich sehr nervös, das ist auch der Hauptgrund warum ich mich bei den Shots für sw entschieden hab... die Neonfarben waren einfach grässlich!
