yeah I haven't played the Game ..like the show thought
yea I am very much in to Dystopian themes
I am wondering how long it will be before it becomes our reality really
as we are too stupid to do otherwise..
We could create utopia on earth but we wont...our greed stupidly and blind love of some mythical being called God
by some will ensure our destruction...
I think thought, we do get some great scenery with Sci-fi's now thought
Actually it seems more of that structure has fallen into the sea in Feb 14
Give me a real Bioshock feel thought when I looked at some of the Videos of what it use to be
love that game all 3 of them
3rd one thought good wasn't quite as big I dont think in exploration
but GTA has the best use of that
you feel almost unlimited in those games
Thanks Mate

I like the very first bioshock, but I don't like the 3rd one as much. It is fun but feels very linear and not "open world" as it was promoted. Yeah the levels are big but eventually you are forced back on the path they want you to take, and there is no real choice at the end...

starlight2infinity In reply to Adelaidejohn1967 [2014-04-04 07:53:31 +0000 UTC]
not "open world"
on 3 infinite that was exactly my thoughts
very guided
GTA really spoilt me for being able to wonder were ever you like almost
even to the going Airborne YAY (or driving a Tank)
thought a friend commend on 3 said to him that it was too big ..I loved
4 did trim in down a bit
Haven t played 5 yet
one of the reasons I haven't really gotten back to Silent Hill series
as I was feeling just too steered in game play with them
loved the first on the old Grey PS... so creepy
Bioshock the first two thought you had to get on to the story line to move on
did have a fair amount of territory to explore & you could arrive were you need to be
by a few different avenues
I like the idea in games of having side missions
but I love not being limited to a set path to arrive at a destination point in the game progress
(steered along one path)
Loved the "Fall out" Series too
fallout New vagas was fun thought its funny how the game scape at first seem so big
cause you get dead quick if not tooled up right so takes awhile to explore
yet really isn't so big once you know it..the bunkers & add ons add a lot thought
to you over all playing field
thought you need to get the deluxe editions
as the others have game play bugs on the 360 at lest
(thought patches via DL are there)
Anyway lots of fun games like that about

Fall out New Vegas is pretty fun....... It's almost "do as you wish" stuff...... So I have a ball blasting everyone......... That's what gaming should be about, huge open world and shoot anything that moves, and the story well that can come later.

yeah its pretty fun...Death claws area bugger & those Wasp things can take you out quiet quickly
I think its in the main game been a while since I played it, were on the other side of the river there's a valley full of death claws
takes awhile to mow them down and get the amour there
GTA really spoilt me for open go anywhere environments So I love any game that has that feature
bioshock gave you most of that sense, thought the trick I suppose was that wall you can,t walk through so you kinda didnt fell restricted
even thought it was guided
I liked the whole series Fallout actually...well what I got and played
the addons packs thought they weren't quite as big were fun too
Sadly a few bugs some good some bad like like the winter amour lasts like forever
but some part if you dont do the seqence right it screws up so you need to get the patches I suppose
too many hours I waste on games like that but I enjoy them, really its the exploration that keep me in
oh and the sudden whack whack your dead from the killer you didnt see
the only thing lacking really is character interaction could be a little more in depth
its the only thing that gives it away as being a game if you get what I mean
my fav companion is Veronica
fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Veronic…
She cracks me up with some comments..
(but many more would have been good, as above)
its a pity legal BS always seems to get in the way of good games
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout_…
Anyway hope to see more of it

It's not the mythical god but the love of the mythical thing called money, and greed.....
We could fix nearly all the problems on Earth but the will to do that is not there. That is also the issue I think. Short term gain and long term pain .....
Like governments selling off state assets like medibank for short term profit but in the long term it's gonna bite them in the ass.

that is exactly the problem
for us to survive we had better get our act together
or else that situation with Russia is only really the start of the escalation
of a new dawn of Madness
the bottom line is it up to the people to decide their fate collectively
not world governments
the only thing that stops us from mass murdering each other
is the agreement of a majority rules
via a TRUE Democracy
Trouble is the worlds full of greedy sods lining there own bed and screw everybody else
(look at how Medicare has been abused by so many..it is a good thing but its being abused
cause of a quick buck to be made by some and now they want to sell it and allow Oz to operate like the USA
pay up or die)
I seen this proggie on Madagascar...and how screwed that place is from us and the almighty $
another on how fast the amazon's going Ditto $$$$...its all about the money
thats our future with bloodshed in between cause we are too fking stupid to do anything else..
sorry..... but thats the true of it...shure some will survive to pick up the pieces
but will they have leaned anything?
Doubt it...they'll just rebuild the greed machine
and off it will go again till nature decides to terminate us for our stupidity
anyway I can hope some see the true but not holding my breath on it

And why have old people become a problem? They want to play with old age pensions and stuff? The ALP for all its faults didn't leave the economy that badly off.......

yeah it really sad the first thing when they want to "tighten the Belt" is go after those that can lest afford the misery
the problem is mate, like all of us Governments dont use the taxes they collect but borrow obscene amounts via Credit
trouble is sooner or later you got to pay up
The rule, really is never borrow more then you can walk in the next day pay them off
and tell them Bye bye
but how many are truly in that position..

yeah its kinda sad really cause we all soy "oh its not my fault, its the way the system works blah blah blah..."
thing is we built that system to absolve us of any responsibility
for it and we didn't put humanity at the heart of it
we put this "$" and so humanity suffers as a whole
I dont support revolutions with violence of any kind,
it just ends up at some point "meet the new boss same as the old boss"
but if we recognize the problem take responsibility and start changing the Directives
we can make things much better for all..instand of the Demi God $
A little credit can be a good thing but a lot of credit is a very very bad thing in the long run
The Art mate is what resulted from no one really caring and thats our future if we dont wake up
the system will just crash and burn it must
Like a show I seen the other day
3 million yeas to produce one Barrel of oil we're using 1000 every second
do the maths...nature's not going to replace that resource anytime soon
and thats just one of many we are using like no tomorrow
we all see it individually But collectively we are bind mullets...maybe that should be lemmings..
heading of a cliff..
Sorry for venting so much
just peevs me off with the dribble most all of them come out with
when it comes to looking after their people
then to add insult to injury you get the likes of you know who over a $ 3000 dollar bottle of plonk
meanwhile the likes of them are trying to push pensioners closer to the poverty line cause they want to save a buck
shh the nerve
Anyway Thanks for the comments mate

You know I wonder why we are looking for other planets or bodies in space if not to find ones we can exploit.
Eventually the oil and fossil fuels will dry up..... Then where do we go?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
starlight2infinity In reply to Adelaidejohn1967 [2014-04-29 07:00:01 +0000 UTC]
true the trouble with space is its so damm BIG
and finding things like oil and gas well you have to find another planet with life really as they came from once living matter..
truly I think you got more change at winning lotto 10 times in a row then we have of finding another earth
anytime soon...and what of the life that still might be there???
its really way it so important if we want to go on as we are that we start finding & using alternatives
there might well be a lot here but sooner or later it has to run out..it is a finite resource
mean while lets go spend 12 Bn Dollars on dud war planes ...maybe we can use them to do nature a favor
with something we are extremely good at..... mass murdering each other...
oh hang on better do that before the oil runs out or you wont have any Jet fuel...
I just wish humanity would grow up...thats all
Id love to go to space thought ...have you been watch that new cosmos series..?

very very tragic...sadly mate thats what this worlds
become.... people just wont step out side the box
this is whats happens cause we're lost the village..
no one cares no one wants to put them selfs on the line and become involved
they just pretend it isn't happening
I am glad someone finally did but too late for her
The agony & shock she must have been in... that is just so cruel
as for that driver....30 years would be a good start
I cant believe what they did... unbelievable!
(I hope they got the them)
yes even here now there are so many hit and runs you hear about

yeah I wanted to highlight the pier and your waves as well
the sea looked awesome and really adds to the idea of time and slow decay
the relentless power..of both
yeah I guess I left the story quite open and just as food for thought,
that if we dont do something this will be the end for so many things in our world
