Next Reference! Dove, who has been on here quite a bit because I use him as an avatar.Can't really say I have too much else to say about this one but I made this one after all of the AN stuff, and this one is basically used for anyone's (including my own) reference! His outfit can change a bit from time to time but this one is a bit of a combination of a lot of them.
Still! He's an accidental angel (reflected in his creation... as he kinda was created by complete accident) but the occasion was more "Serendipity" than anything... so he can represent "Happy Accidents". He's a more modern angel but it almost useless when it comes to physical combat, will be found in the background supporting people or learning magery, however unlike a lot of his kind he's quite good with technology and computers. Has worked tirelessly to provide Heaven with better technology infrastructure (if not only that he can play his games he left at home). Loves nerdy stuff, anime, games, you name it and is very interested in learning new things all of the time and supporting his friends. He's also gotten quite used to his outfit and he loves to fly around whenever he can.
There is more as usual but it's all in there I guess!

No problem! Yeah, people tend to use their favorite characters as their avatar... In my case, I just chose the goofiest face I could find between my drawings and put it here lol (I don't regret anything, though hue)

Yeah, that happens to me too. My personality is really spread throughout my main characters (even in my stories), but there's always that one that is more you than the others xD

I think that's really original as well. Angels never get mixed with machinery (unless it's X-Men), so I love that aspect of Dove!

Thank you as always! I am so glad you like him (like you said you loved his design too, it's simplistic but awesome), he's pretty special and as you know is the character I use as my artist Avatar. It's always interesting that the one character that was "an accident" is now one of the most central. Awwwwwwhhhh... thanks! I try my best to really be a positive influence on everyone and to be honest, I'm actually really touched you always think so, that's really sweet! Plus helping out people like you and bringing joy around, it's a true pleasure!
To be honest, a lot of my personality is actually spread throughout all the characters here but I would say a large chunk of it is in him... I mean it makes sense, there are a few clues in there like "the play on his name" and a few other things. Plus I mean he's a techie, an anime fan as well as a gamer, that's also a giveaway too.
Never really thought of most Angels as the techie type and one of Silphie's weak points is she is terrible with machines... much like how one of Dove's weakness is his lack of physical strength. Gives him a bit of a unique flair, and probably advocates for infrastructure for gaming/anime in Heaven.

Ha ha ha! He's a bit of an odd angel but has a very good heart. I'm so glad you thought the Heavenly Tech Support was awesome, it's a bit of a unique factor about him so I added that in there in the hobbies! Oh I adore doing all of the Chibis, it adds a ton of personality and I've gotten some good feedback on the prototypes so I made sure to add a bunch! Thank you so much!
Oh yes! That circle in the top right (every character I have has them) is a quick flat-colour reference guide to their outfit, eye and hair colour. In the center is even the 7 gems on his harp. :3 It turns out that these are really good in a pinch for an artist. In this case for Dove who is "a newbie angel" it's a flat of his halo.

Also I noticed he's wearing Japanese style divided socks and sandals! Perhaps a way to get over his shyness about his robes....certain Japanese people wore vaguely similar garments (at times, certain men even wore a kind of pleated skirt...it was one variation of the "Hakama", not as well known as the "baggy pants" variation)

Good eye! That's true he's wearing a type of sandal that's pretty much like that, and true it was based a bit on that too! :3 It's a bit of a mix between east and west as it's a strapped sandal with a sock like that. He also likes the comfort too.
