NOTE: This is a sequel to the photo and short story I posted a couple years ago. (BronyCon Mascots Reflect )

It's become an annual tradition. On the Sunday night after the convention, the three friends look out towards the Convention Center and reflect on the convention that had just passed. There were over 6,300 attendees this year, while not as high as previous years, those that did attend had a lot of fun. The $34,000 raised for charity was a record. Fun and friendship was in force from 10am Friday morning to roughly 5pm on Sunday.

These are confusing times in this world. Yet, while there is certainly a lot of negative in this world, the convention they are part of is a beacon of positivity and friendship. They help bring the spirit to this convention and it rubs off every single pony that they meet during the weekend. The end of the convention is always a bittersweet time. It's sad that it has ended, yet for many, it was the weekend of a lifetime and they hope that they can come back next year.

Some of the attendees have gone home already, and more will follow on Monday and the ponies will be there bright and early to see them return home wherever home may be. Post-con depression will hit every pony and some more than most. However, there will always be the #BronyConMoments that will always be a source of pride, of happiness, and of warm feelings. While Bronycon comes just once a year, the friendships and warm feelings that come from it last much longer. For the three ponies overlooking their town, it makes the effort all worth it. Of course, they say that the best convention is the next one, which reminds them of something a radio DJ likes to say:

"Don't stop thinking about tomorrow because yesterday has been a dream, tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived makes every tomorrow a vision of hope."

With that, it was time to call it a night. It was a little sad to see BronyCon 2017 come to an end, but they can take pride in this weekend and look forward to preparing for BronyCon 2018--some 348 days from this night!
