You're looking at a quick (5 hrs = quick for me) portrait of one of my dogs. I painted it as a bday present for my mom, and it feels good to be back at the tablet after a month hiatus. If anyone has suggestions on the background, I'd love to hear em, that was the part that gave me the most trouble.(P.S. Sorry to the people who have me on their devwatch who have seen this thing posted like 3 times. I had issued to fix between postings, and the edit function aint workin right.)

I actually didn't see the dog at first and just saw what looked like something very creepy and scary. Uh...but great stuff, love the style.

whoo! tis very nice, i don't think i remember ever seeing this one before! i'd love to give you some advice on backgrounds, but i really haven't done a landscape ever so i suck at backgrounds myself gotta agree with sinnamongirl though, the water might need some light reflection or something.

i couldnt decide whether it was a dog or a bear. so i just decided it was a bear cub =cP

the rocks and the bear look fab. hes nice and furry =c)
the water could maybe do with a little light reflecting off it but otherwise great piece.
