Lara had now spent three weeks in the Asylum. Fortunately for her she'd been recently downgraded to a Category-C Patient. A big step, it meant she was allowed additional interactions and didn't have to be fully restrained every evening like her first night. Unfortunately she had a habit of trying to talk to staff on night-patrol through her window, so a simple solution was devised to ensure she stayed in bed. At least she could turn on her side this way.

Staring unhappily at her shackled feet she rested her head on her arms and reminisced on her disastrous court appearance.
