Species: Phoenix in Rito form
Gender: Non-binary (Gender-less)
Birthplace: The Sun
Age: ∞?

I LOVE the Rito from Zelda BOTW, so I decided to create a new character based on them!
This one is based on a phoenix, which I also love too.

The Legendary Phoenix:
It is believed that this creature, birthed on the surface of the sun, struck the earth in the time period before it developed a livable atmosphere.
The phoenix is an ever living creature with the power of fire, healing and rebirth.
On average, they live as long as any bird it closely resembles.
When they die, they turn to ash. From the ashes, a new one gets born. When they get born, they retain any memories from the past. They also experience evolution every time they die. They follow the form of the most successful species of birds which, through time, resulted in them finally getting into the form of a Rito they are now.
Phoenixes don't reproduce, which means they are gender-less.
These creatures aren't alone however... Could there be more like them? Could there even be phoenix-kin? Who knows...

Takora:
Now lives close to the mouth of Death Mountain. They keep guard of any incoming threats using their simple, but trusty Falcon bow. They use their finger tips to light their arrows to turn them into fire arrows.
While they generally don't like cold places, they can keep themself warm using their very warm body feathers. Snow melts fast around their feet.
Takora is a confident, but quite solitary bird. Their voice is a bit on the masculine side.

Anyways, I hope you like my new character!
I had a TON of fun drawing them.
