For my cousin. This is the most personal piece I've done in a while, and it's just a tiny pen/pencil sketch. Long story short, she's eighteen and pregnant. Her boyfriend goes to school part-time and doesn't have a job. She's working two or three right now. She never finished school and never took her GED test. She's not able to afford her anti-depressants. They're getting kicked out of his aunt's house soon. They don't have anything. I'm so worried for her.But in this all, she has a beautiful tattoo on her calf of two butterflies. It's a striking change from the rest of her life. I'd like to think that she remembers her bit of beauty in the world.

that really is sad. I hope your cousin will be okay. I know a lot of people w/ depression problems and just problems like that in general..its hard.
