saw your posting on LinkedIn, so I'll try to be gentle as you asked with a few comments.
This is a good start. The colouring on the car is effective. However, be careful how you handle treatments where sources of light are involved. In the bottom panel the light is shining in from behind and to the right of the character, yet his left side is "lit" almost as well, if not better than his right. There shouldn't be so much "light" on his left leg, especially the shin. Just something to watch out for, I know you want the character to be visible against the background, which may have influenced your choice in how you coloured things.
