The bridge was built to get to that old medieval castle built on the rocks on the left hand side. That castle is called the "Felsenburg Neurathen" and remains only as a ruin today.

As chartus already said, this is located near Dresden in Germany. The valleys Rathen and Lohmen are pretty near.

it is germany ...a valley located near dresden and called "saxonian swiss" or "SΓ€chsische Schweiz" in german.
