Description
What I tried to do with the effects is showing the charakters from the viewer's perspective.

As if you're looking trough the charakter's eyes who sees them walking trough the rain with moving grass on the foreground and raindrops that are thicker than the ones further away. The mare on the back has wet mane while the kid only has wet shoes from jumping around, she's held dry by the leaf (obviously).

I drew their horns differently than normal unicorn horns, I got inspired by Spriggans, the spriggan are guardians of the forest, they exist out of wood and their life form is a magical glow inside their body, this same glow is what I drew in between of the mare's horn in wich you can see a nature-based energy glow that makes the leaf move.

The way my commissioner described these charakters made me feel like they are more connected to nature than usual ponies/unicorns, what I wanted to do with their items is make them all nature based, so that only they can use those items, no other pony race can function with them (they can like, use an axe to cut wood but it will feel like a very heavy branch that they lift, but for these ponies its light as a feather to use because of their magic)

Also the daggers they wear with them is their cutiemark, their mark of who they are and what they do, these ponies are nature connected and can tell from the wood they made their dagger with who they are and what they do in life.
