gouache/oils mish-mash. always loved the bridge of kazad dum showdown between the Balrog and gandalf-some of this i like, other bits not so keen. never tried painting flames before so some of them are less than convincing. it was fun nevertheless..Related content

and you know what? i would recommend painting black on black to anyone- apart from anything else it makes overpainting easy, which is good for me cos i made plenty of mistakes in this piece!
