Flanked! Left and right, the fight came out of nowhere and the Sharr brought it to us. The screams of hyperdrive engines shuddered the ship's hull as the fleet began the journey to defend Kerron's primary data relay station, if that was lost then the war could change from persistant but controlled skirmishes, to a full on assault on every major station in this sytem. Kerron DR1's defences were almost down and the shields were failing, already a few fluctuation lasers had managed to penetrate it and cause severe damage to the stations exposed exterior. The Light of Kyst had arrived just in time, the large cruiser had the ability to change the tide of this battle, at least long enough to mount a counter-attack. Spewing Kyst fighters from its hull its rummbled slowly forwards towards the Sharr attack vessels...
