Just in case someone gets offended; I'm not saying all women hate blacks or all blacks hate gays. This cartoon is about time periods, when sexist, racist and homophobic opinions ruled the land. Women weren't allowed to vote, blacks were segregated, homosexuality was illegal... these are historic facts.However, if you still choose to write to me saying "How dare you! I don't hate anyone!" I won't be annoyed you didn't get the joke because, in some lands, those horrible rules are still in place. And I will be just delighted to hear you believe in equal rights.

I honestly think machines will deserve the same rights as humans when they can pass the Turing Test. It's not a perfectly accurate test, but if they're that close to a human, I see no difference. I will support the rights of any machine that acts human while still knowing and acknowledging that it's a machine. And bonus points if they develop these traits without being programmed.
But people would probably build machines specifically programmed to support certain people or lean a certain way, so no voting for you. Sorry, robots, can't take the risk!
