He's protective of any members and their digimon, especially his own partner.

History: Baron was born in England to an upper middle class family. His parents were pretty well off, but had a problem of putting work before their son. As such, Baron was left in the care of his grandfather and grandmother a lot. Baron's grandparents were wealthy and lived in an old mansion, but had cut his parents off from money to keep them from becoming spoiled. Baron's grandfather and grandmother were kind old folk, despite their wealthy status. His grandfather would teach him fencing and tell him about old battles that had been fought in feudal England, while his grandmother taught him to cook and sew. At night both grandparents would read him old Arthurian legends, which instilled Baron with his knight-envy.

Baron's grandfather also helped fuel his DIY attitude by showing him how to use tools. Baron's relationship with his grandparents was definitely better then the one he had with his parents. However, he loved his family. That was why it was such a blow to him when, at the age of 8, his grandparents were taken away from him. They died in a car accident, and left Baron most of their money. They left some to his parents, as well as the mansion. To Baron's father his Grandfather also left his security company, on the condition that Baron would take it over when he finished College and if he studied business. Baron slowly sank into a dark depression, now living in the mansion his grandparents had so lovingly helped raise him in.

Now 10 and withdrawn, Baron was an emotional wreck for many years. Sitting under a willow tree in the garden one day, Baron was approached by a LadyDevimon wearing an Amethyst pendant and a skull-motif coat of arms on her arm. The dark digimon, sensing Baron's weakened state of mind decided to have him help her with a small project she had for herself. She handed Baron a digi-egg and a shard of Reliability, stating that after he trained this digimon she'd come back for it as it was meant to be her perfect servant. Baron agreed to care for the egg, LadyDevimon's words twisted with a harsh politeness that fed on Baron's sense of chivalry and knightly ideals.

Baron would use the shard on a pocket watch his grandfather had added a digital display to, and if you pushed the button on the top it would switch between the time and a temperature read out, and then the date. Now possessing his Digivice, Baron took care of the digi-egg. He built a small box with a cushion to put it in, and wrapped it in a blanket. He would spend his days reading to the egg and waiting. A few months later, his Digimon partner Ardodgimon was born on his birthday. Ardodgimon helped pull Baron out of his depression, and the two were fast friends.

At 15, Baron came to Japan to attend an international high school. He would later join The Astra with Ardodgimon and Ardodgimon's Rookie form, Glasgomon, as his partner. He lives in the dorms, as the school dorms didn't take kindly to Ardodgimon's pranks and property damage. At 18 he attends college where he's training to become the CEO of his grandfather's company. He's been raised as a firm believer in hard work, and as such works at a Bakery despite having a large inheritance. He also studies a lot in his downtime, usually Business and Economics. Despite being a loyal member and warm to people, Baron seems to have a cloud hanging above his head some days. While he won't tell people why, it's because he remembers the words of a dark lady. Promising to return and take his friend back when he's strong enough to serve her.

Digimon Partner:

In-Training: Ardodgimon
Name Etymology: Portmanteau of Artful and Dodger, after the character from Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist.
Attacks
Sparkle Bubble. A weak attack that seems more suited for distraction then actual damage.

Rookie: Glasgomon
Name Etymology: Named for Glasgow, or the Glasgow grin. The Glasgow grin was a wounding method said to be originated in Glasgow, Scotland which involved slashing a person from the edge of the mouth to the ears in a macabre smile. However it gained popularity as an intimidation tactic in Chelsea, London with the criminal element.
Attacks
Prankster Poppers. Loud fireworks with lots of smoke, again more of a distraction but does decent damage.
Lamplight Cutter. A shining blade flies from his sleeves. Useable only in the dark it seems.

Champion: Lakaimon
Name Etymology: Named for "Lakai", the German word for Footman. The footman is a male servant in a household.
Attacks
Servant's Artillery. Throws hundreds of pieces of high polished silverware.
Tray Magnifique. Throws his silver serving platter at a high velocity.

Ultimate: Butlermon
Name Etymology: Named for the head of a household staff, Butler. Usually in charge of dining, kitchen, pantry and wine cellar staff but also can handle cleaning staff.
Attacks
Dark Honor. A fog of darkness cuts Butlermon and his opponent off from others, forcing a one on one duel.
Dinner Shredding a pun on the phrase "Dinner Setting." Butlermon throws a large quantity of silverware, platters, saucers, cups, glasses, plates, bowls, trays and various other dinnerware at the opponent. It flies from a vortex inside his coat.
Table Banger A pun on "Table Manner". Butlermon
summons an entire oak table and bludgeons the enemy over the head with it until they stop moving or the table breaks.

Mega: Patriamon
Name Etymology: Named for the word Patriarch. Which was used to denote the head of a noble family.
Attacks
Gentleman's Game. Creates an invisible barrier that forces others away, leaving Patriamon and his opponent to face one on one unless someone manages to break the barrier.
Dark Noble (Sword type). Slashes elegantly with one of his swords. Patriamon will only use his more powerful swords if his opponent proves worthy, otherwise he'll stick to the lower levels.
Final Elegance. The final combo, using all of his blades in a sweeping symphony of slashes. However using this attack leaves Patriamon drained of energy.

Swords (strongest to weakest)
-Excalibur- The Dark Noble's Finest sword and a dark parody of King Arthur's sword. With a blood red blade and black metal hilt, it is a beauty of a demonic sword.
-Zweihander- A cumbersome, giant blade. While not graceful, its power is undeniable.
-Broadsword- A long blade bearing the Dark Noble's Crest.
-Falchion- A curved, one handed saber. Balanced and a good middle ground.
-Rapier- A fencing foil used with expert speed. While weaker then the Falchion, it is faster then any other sword so he uses it for quick opponents.
-Gladius- A short roman sword.
-Dagger- A small fencing dagger. Quick but lacks range.
-Butter Knife- A polished silver knife. To have Patriamon use this on you shows he considers you the weakest of opponents.

Personality: As Ardodgimon and Glasgomon he's loud, boisterous and speaks with a cockney accent. Prone to illegal fits and childishness.
As Butlermon and above he is quieter, speaking with a cocky dignity in a refined voice. He is honorable and loyal, and follows Baron's code of Honor to a T. Even as Ardodgimon and Glasgomon he respects and serves Baron.

Relationship Summary
Baron and Ardodgimon's relationship is complicated and sometimes frowned upon by others. Their relationship seems very Master and Servant, with Baron being professional and cold seeming while Ardodgimon retains a respectful manner which some could see as submissiveness. In truth, their bond is much closer then that. The two are very close friends, but Baron chooses to be polite while Ardodgimon remains a hellion. As such, in public they end up sort of at ends with each other and as such their reactions to each other show more in a professional manner then friendly. However, if in laid back environments the two can show just how close they really are. Unfortunately the hard part is getting both of them to relax and show that friendly side of their relationship.
