I atempt to draw on photoshop and I fail xp I looked for a shadin tutorial for photoshop elements 6.0 but I couldnt find one. So can if any of you guys know of one can you give it to me.This is an old character Burr. She was orginally a warriors char and had diffrent marking but I changed her

Well detailed! Reminds me a little of Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp ^.^ Question though; is Burr the replacement of Burrtangle?

That shading actually looks pretty good for ur first time
Gawd, i always love the facial expressions. The anatomy in this is really nice, too 
And just letting u know, these characters and the style in which u draw them are comparable to films I've seen. Who knows? Maybe you'll bring 2d animation back into the spotlight. If disney knows what's good for them, they'll either hire you or keep u away from any animation programs

OOH the shading looks so cool!
shading for me is sort of just trial & error x) I don't use tutorials.... usually because I am too lazy to open up the internet which is really DUMB of me. But most of the time I just smudge and colour away until it looks good... or not, and then I start it over

usually what I do is I colour the shaded areas in, and then go back and smudge them, and then add darker colours in, and then smudge again, and keep doing that until it looks alright x)

Thats perfectly okay I don't mind, I really like those eyes there, and about Paint.NET, its very good for people who want a cross between MS paint and Photoshop, I used to have it, completely free. :3

Its just like iscribble in a way if you use the layers right. I have a hard time with other programs but this one is really simple just like MS paint xD
Yea I think your shading fits your style better too. But yea its good to try different styles.
