This is an older but more detailed portrait of the original I posted.
This is called a Forerunner Virus Module. Its blueprints were based from Precursor technology and was repurposed for hacking into enemy software and controlling drones, like Sentinels.
What inspired me to draw this: back in HALO: Combat Evolved, in the level 343 Guilty Spark, just as we pick up a shotgun behind the wall, behind the doorway in front of the bluish hardlight bridge, we enter a room with electrical patterns changing from blue to orange and vice versa running through this "Forerunner Module", as I'd like to call it.
