Description
  This Anomalocarid variant is referenced to be a prototype version of the Huragok/Engineer. Its display lights are said to be lavender in hue and have violet circles and semi-circles along its body, in respect to the rest of its steel-blue casing. The "fins" lining each side of the body are said to either be violet or sky blue in color. When they are either rampant or threatened, though, the lights can change red.
  As such, what it lacks in memory it makes up for in numbers, maintaining Forerunner systems by catching Scrub-Grubs (which can damage the systems) and splicing their prongs to effectively repair microscopic errors. To this kind of sentinel, a Forerunner facility having pests like Scrub Grubs as the "Trilobites" can become its natural habitat. In spite of their appearance, they are capable of defending themselves against machines/organisms larger than them. They could lash out and crush someone's skull like a melon with those prongs.
I really admire the Anomalocarid's evolutionary appearance. I decided to reshape it into a Forerunner Sentinel in this portrait.
  Unlike its Huragok counterpart, which builds its offspring with helping hands, this AI is created from a Sentinel Launcher. However, it does have a fail-safe, should its local facility get trashed: it can copy and transfer data via its tentacles with a respective partner sentinel and create "holographic eggs", where the data from both "parents" would converge into a larva. The data larvae will then hatch in an incubated area and build to their size, with an abundance of Scrub Grubs and metals.
Fan Fiction-wise, Covenant forces have encountered these AIs. Unfortunately, these Anomalocarid-shaped constructs would find out about the Covenant's war with humanity (the Reclaimers) and would turn guns against even the Prophets.
