Description Wooo. More stuff on her! I wasn't happy with how most of the texturing was going, so I ended up redoing most of it. Haha. On the positive side, though, I learned how to paint normal maps by hand, which is incredibly fun.

The tri count is currently around 7500 and I'm using 2048 textures. I couldn't wrap my head around how to make her smaller. So I guess I may end up leaving her like that, but it'd be great to tweak it and make it better....

Also, here's the WIP thread on Polycount!

Thanks for checking it out, and any comments and critiques would be useful. I need to fix her face and brow line. More work!

- EDIT -

Here's the model in p3d.in!

I had to crunch the texture sizes pretty hard though, so it looks pretty meh.

Wow awesome girl but looks little different that earlier sculpts and awesome page to watch models.

So it seems I have to learn how to use Zbrush XD.

Yeah, I wound up tweaking lots of things on her based on the feedback given by friends and online peoples. Yeah! That p3d.in site is amazing for showing some models, too. I'm so glad to have found it.

Wellll. It's not TOTALLY necessary to use ZBrush. Ultimately, I think it's mostly up to the artist to make the most out of the tools available to them. It's just that ZBrush is an incredibly powerful tool!

So I have to learn it XD. Blender is really good but my computer don't like saubsurf over 4 level. Maybe ZBrush can make it more optimized or something.

ZBrush tends to deal with heavier polycounts (at least on my computer) so I can get around 8 million poly's on my laptop... But then it begins chugging, haha. It's roughly 7 to 8 iterations of subdivisions. But every computer is different.

Mhm... Do you think that operation system would make something? My windows xp have 4 years and it 32 bit maybe he is too old for this?.

Hmm. I THOUGHT ZBrush was a 32 bit program, but now I'm not so sure. It runs on my friend's 32 bit computer, though. And it should be okay with XP. Even if you get it now, it should be okay if you update later; as long as you retain your license of ZBrush, you can move it from one computer to another. Pixologic is great.

looks very good. However the inside of the ears looks a bit strange for a human character. Other than that it looks great for the polycount. Keep up the good work.

Awesome, thanks! I will make sure to tweak those textures to make her look slightly less horrifying.

Haha, check out some of the models on Polycount and cry with how much detail they pack into so few tris.... :')

Thanks for your encouragement, I'll definitely make this better!
