Thanks, I will find this very useful.
I, for one, am glad you decided to mirror it because the original site is now gone.

Oh wow! This was just what I was looking for! And it had guys too <3
The pictures are a little small but they will definitely help me practice poses. You're awesome for finding this.

I feel the need to show you some support in response to certain comments I'm seeing here. The original website clearly intends this as an educational tool and so shouldn't have a problem with you sharing it in turn. They aren't high res, so it's not like people can use them for much outside of their original purpose. Also, if they were in your journal instead of your gallery, I'd never have seen them.
In other words, ignore that guy, he's just grouchy. It's always good to share resources, that's one of the points of dA.

Thanks for the support, I agree it does get more exposure doing it this way.

How about putting a link in your journal rather than uploading it as your stock? I am quite certain people can figure out how to surf to their site...

Hailing from the future, I wouldn't have come across this in a journal entry.

I think i have made it clear enough that it doesn't belong to me & that I am sharing/promoting a wonderful guide. I have credited and linked the guide, not to mention its a free resource with no restrictions. It's rather unnecessary to be sarcastic, I'm not going to engage in further comments.

That is what the journal is for... your gallery is for your own work...
Either that or we just get the brass to change the name of DA to MySpace2...
Bahh...

I think you are failing to see that I have 900 deviations that belong to me. Submitting one as upload is hardly the end of the world and my quest to make my profile "my space".

The point here is not about pageviews. It is about using your gallery for your own work - period. In your quest for the 'convenience' of others did you think about the fact that you are doing a disservice to the original artist?
People on DA will come to your gallery, look at the image(s) and either surf away or download them. End of contact.
With a link to the original site the people will go there and experience the original artists work in its proper environment - for the betterment of that artist, who has obviously spent the time to setup their own space on the net. Or they might find some other artwork from that artist that catches their eye.
I know that if someone did that to me with my regular (non-DA) gallery I would be much less than pleased!

Erm, i said i have 900 privately owned deviations not 900 page views, I couldn't care less about the views, merely the helping of others which I assume is why all DA stock suppliers do this at their own cost and time. I'm not entirely sure yet if i agree or disagree re the 'original artist' but just to let you know I have contacted the artist and will post the response when i receive it.
Re your journal: I understand you are adverse to change and maybe what i am experiencing is different to what you once experienced. However, this is where i am now and you can not offer a free service to the entire world without it being 'bastardized'. Having said that, if you know you cant change it (as you said) then why fight it? Why not embrace where DA has developed to instead of taking it out on the users who enjoy it as it is. I'm sure the truly talented artists stand out and promote their accounts elsewhere. Even on deviant art it is pretty easy to find them if you search within certain groups.

Ahh yes... the lowest common denominator theory.. so why not just call the place myspace2?
