Piece number two for my portfolio. One day I got a flash of a picture in my head, and the only thing that remained of it after that were the three colours of the girl's hair - all in the same shade as dusty rose. However, before I put pencil to paper, I got some very good news from a friend and the picture changed.Dedicated to my friend, Carol.
Thanks to for the gold texture. It fit perfectly.

This is really cute and I love it! There is so much emotion being portrayed in this picture it's unbelievable. It's nostalgic, happy and almost longing(?) at the same time. The colors and the effects that you used almost give it a dream or memory feel and it makes me think that the child is remembering their mother who passed away when they were just a little kid.
