Thanks for your interest in it. I wish I could be a bit more creative in creating the custom glyphs of my choice rather than what Apple has already introduced. The main focus for this one is defiantly working with patterns and blending layers.

True. But I suppose you could use the Chess.app icon instead of the GameCenter logo, maybe. A nice little border, some improvements, and you've got a new icon!
