Description
So, yeah. This is Google Android. Turns out, you can run it on a normal x86 computer, not just a cell phone.Kinda hard to see the cursor, though. See that dark triangle in the top left corner? That's the cursor. Frickin' impossible to see against dark backgrounds, and I didn't spend too much time trying to figure out how to change it.

thats cool...putting Cell phone software on a computer and running it. But yeah, i'd have to agree, that cursor is hard to spot... i didn't notice it until I read the part of you mentioning its location.

I suppose it was just an afterthought -- after all, the OS is meant for touch-screen cell phones.
(Sorry for the delay replying -- been home sick. Would still be home but can't take more sick days...)

As it happens, yes, it's running under VMware. I used the livecd, but I didn't feel like burning it.
If Android had been easier to use on the PC (if the mouse cursor had been easier to see, for pete's sake) I might've burned it to try on the bare hardware -- but with the difficulties I had, I won't be using it any time soon. (On something with a touch screen -- like, say, a cell phone -- it's probably just fine.)
