Description
This gecko was my buddy on Magnetic Island. It was colder than it had been in a long time, and I walked into my room to a very loud rustling noise. I pulled out an old parisol and found this little guy living under its protective cover. And by little I mean big.

I admired him for a while and then scooped him up to put him outside. My hostess and friend's mother asked me what I was up to, so I told her, "Well, I caught this gecko in my room and I figured you didn't want him in the house."

"Oh no, love, that must be his home. He lives there!," she said sweetly, "Go ahead and put him back." What an awesome lady. I got to share a room with a big, happy gecko!
