Description
This is the rainforest across Lake Te Anau, near the glowworm caves (I was on my way in for a tour of the caves). It's amazing how green everything is in the middle of winter.I took this without a tripod, so it's not perfect. But if I had taken it with a tripod, it still wouldn't be perfect, and then I wouldn't have an excuse.

Yes, I regret not having a lot more time there. No photograph could ever do the scenery justice. Te Anau was such a gorgeous place, and I would really like to see Doubtful Sound one day.

Doubtfull Sound is Beautiful, I have a few photos from it in my gallery yet they are taken with my old camera

Looks alot like my home here in Oregon.
We even get moss growing on out cars around here. The ones that are driven. lol.

Thanks. I wish I'd had a better handle on my SLR when I went, but in truth it was that trip that really made me buckle down and start figuring things out. I definitely learned on the fly and missed a lot of shots. It just means I'll have to go back!
I bet your photos are better than you think. Wait a while and look over them again. I always end up pulling out shots that I dismissed the first time around.

But I still think that your photos have turned really good, especially if you were still figuring out your camera. But that is the best way to learn!!! I'm sure your next set will be amazing
