Last year, almost exactly around this time in early January, I got back into Crash after a LONG absence from it. I just, sorta randomly started playing the ND games again. Then it exploded from there.Crash has been a really big part of 2012 for me, believe it or not. It's a very special series to me. Crazy that I've stayed into it for a whole year, that almost never happens with me and series'.
As it's an anniversary of sorts, I thought I'd celebrate by doing a pic. Fitting pic to start a new gallery, I think.
OKAY. SAP MODE OVER.
Drew it with markers, fineliners, white gel pen, etc. Took 3 - 4 hours. I wasn't really paying attention to the time o3o

Well, I love your N.Gin as always (if you don't know, he's my favorite character, so this is why I always talk about him ^^"), but the look of Coco *^*: she's just so great!

I curious what parts did you use for the white gel pen and what other tools did you use?

I mostly put white gel pen on parts of the outlines of the characters, and toΒ put little flecks of light in their eyes. As for everything else- I sketched it with aΒ H pencil, inked with a light grey fineliner, rubbed out the pencil lines with a Mars plastic rubber, coloured with copic ciao markers, and went over the lines with lots of coloured staedtlerΒ fineliners.

Wooow, nostalgia trip! It's been many years since I've played a Crash game, ha ha~ You certainly did the games justice, wow, everyone's portraits look great, and you coloring is stunning! So much contrast and balance with color temperatures and compliments, overall just stunning!

Um, I'm also using this as the artwork for the crash music on my ipod. Is that ok? Also, even though you're brilliant at every aspect of drawing, your strong point is defiantly shading! You just know which colours and where, easily! I envy your awesomeness.

WOW....I'm almost speechless with this fine work of yours. Its totally awesome man. Funny thing is I was just playing crash 2 the other day with my friends and saying how great the games were back in its hey day. But this is a lovely tribute no doubt. You done us crash fans proud.

Haha ,it's cool Im not alone with a game coming at one in some years - be it more or less ^^
My Crash hype started at 2010 and continued ina bit of 2011 as I played some older crash game and XD From there I suddenly started to get some crash game I didn't have - like WOC,Crash team tag racing,Titan and M.o:M and thats where I also
started to draw some crash art,but mostly I drawed N.Gin of the Titan version *is a fav,along with Nina - Cocoa and Dingodile along with ripperoo have allways been fav thought* x3
2011 later became a zelda year and in bit of 2012 and now,it seem to be OW is crawling back at me on this year for me *Oddworld*O.o' *last was around 200- something >_>' *
Im still not abounding zelda and cash - will probably draw more of that,of course. I also have some obsessions I have never change,no matter how many years goes by X3
I do hope there will be a crash game again ;__; They can't just leave it...or worse..ruin it X_X'
