Vou dar uma analisada mais a fundo assim que tiver um tempinho para parar e digerir. Assim, acho que pra você ter mais acessos, você tem que saber onde divulga. Eu estava postando as tirinhas há um tempinho já, antes de ter a ideia de postá-las em grupos sobre vampiros. Sei lá, você pode tentar a sorte em grupos de fanfics e fanfiqueiros. Participar de contests, e coisas assim.
E mesmo assim, é preciso de um bocaaaaado de paciência. Popularidade é uma coisa estranha. Vem quando não esperamos e vai sem avisar. ._.

Oh, and feel free to correct my language mistakes. My characters are supposed to speak British English (they live in England, after all), but my knowledge about English and its regional variants are very, very limited. It's not an issue in the Portuguese-speaking blog, but here on DA, well... ^^"

Well, I finished my book and I'm waiting the publishing house official announcement of the publishing date. Until them, I'm just an aspiring writer (yes, I'm overly wary about good things). xD
The ideas are difficult to grasp at first, but start the actual writing often helps. Or trying to make a timeline of the events. Or talking about it with other writers. (Writers who really want to hear about it. xD)

That actually does help. I've built the background chronology of my story for a long time, but I've not given thought to the manner in which the story plays out for the individual characters, which is so very important to a story.

(Maybe your difficulties you are facing are the lacking of some important answers: "Why am I telling this story? What's happening here that is so interesting? What have these people done to achieve the end of this story? How it changed these people? Why will I and the reader care about those characters? What I like the most about my characters?" They seem like random questions, but if you can answer all of them clearly, your story feels more solid. Hope it helps you. ^^)

Oh no, all of those questions make perfect sense, and it is by those questions, and more like them, that I've developed the story and characters as far as I have done. I'm sure you know the trials and tribulations of doing so. Many character have been created, kept, discarded, altered, or otherwise entirely changed until they are what they are.
The thing you've helped me with was pointing out that I have to decide exactly how the story: the premise, the problem, the discovery, the solution, and the conclusion, apply to them, which is something I had not really considered before

Of course it is, like anything we deeply enjoy, to others it seems a trial, a relentless gauntlet we tread for unknown purpose.
My brother for instance, is a football player, and thoroughly enjoys it, taking up much of his waking moments playing. I can't for the life of me figure out why in the world he likes it so much, but by the same token he can't understand how I can sit down for hours on end typing out stories and drawing pictures.
It's all about passions, I think

Well, I'm currently drawing the 147th strip of Bram & Vlad (yeah, the Brazilian blog is waaay ahead DA) and didn't put him yet, but I'm always collecting new names for the meetings between Vlad and the members of the Vampire Society (you will know them soon xD).
