an unrelated question regarding pencils -- are the ones you use mechanical? (and if so, are they colored.. and how/where does one get color mechanical pencils..?)

well, i used to use prismacolor colored pencils mostly. the only mechanical pencils i have are the standard gray graphite and recently found a red lead to use which i like the color of, it looks slightly orange/pinkish red. anyway, i've heard there are other different colors of mech. pencil lead but have not found them yet...(haven't really looked that much either. the red lead i use some is very brittle)
i found the red lead at Office Depot. Oh yeah, i think there's non-photo blue, but you can probably see why i might not want to use that, heh.
