Description
This is a visualization of a moment described at the conclusion of the "Irene" story. I put Clara in there because she deserved an appearance (after all, she's the one who helped Irene get to this point) and to offer a relatively "normal" body for comparison.I'm particularly pleased by the stretch marks, veins, and cellulite on the figure. While it's a cartoon, a perceived element of realism can heighten the experience...at least I think so. Also, I've always enjoyed the sight of these things on a real ssbbw...absolutely beautiful. I suppose they serve as testaments to true immensity, which is something of a turn-on for me.

In the story Clara describes Irene as a temple at this point. She's no mere temple; she's a goddess.

My instinctive reaction is that 'she' is revolting. My considered reaction is that its a wonderful piece of erotic/anti-erotic obesity art. Its so surreal its sublime... And its so surreal it could well become reality before too long. It seems to be the direction an awful lot of people are heading in.

in theater/film what you are describing (the realistic qualities in a clearly fictional situation) is called verisimilitude (from Latin meaning "the apearance of truth")
at any rate, many props... (I too love stretchmarks, and seeing the veins beneath the skin)

The veins and coloration are well done. Those features can make a huge girl even sexier.
You've kept her frame (under the fat) proportional. I like that. Many times the artist distorts the frame rather than letting it get swamped in the tonnage.
Love the multi-lobed front of the belly. I'll also admit liking her expression. A bit distressed?

Although I admittedly haven't had time to read the last chapter of your so far amazing adventures of Irene's adipose adding anecdote I must say this pic is FUCKING AWESOME! I know that putting yourself out here like this baits the bastards into belittling you for your somewhat non-conformist views on sexuality (as is evident from some of the postings in the comments section for another of your great drawings), however, I must say that those of us who appreciate artwork of this type truly do appreciate all the obvious time and energy put into producing consistently excellent work such as you do. I have always enjoyed your works because of the small details that you include: Blemishes, stretch marks, veins, cellulite, etc.
They add the element of verisimilitude. Even if the size to which the protagonist grows is somewhat unbelievable from a practical standpoint, those little details allow for the total suspension of disbelief on the part of the viewer/reader.
