Description
As you can see, our feeder and feedee have been busy. One potentially interesting thing about this image is, if you open it along with the previous frame in this series, then toggle between the two frames, you get a sort of “insta-fattenting” effect. I used it myself while I was polishing this image, to figure out where the fat should go, and how much of it – sort of like an animator might do. That helped me to make her flesh seem to swell up and around her as it simultaneously expanded outward.

After I decided to extend this idea beyond the initial frame – creating a mini-series of drawings – this was going to be the final one, but sometimes things like these take on a life of their own. When I was playing with the dialogue for this panel, I wrote out the warehouse relocation idea just because I thought it sounded cool. Then, while I was sketching this image out, I found myself repeatedly wondering…”What would she look like after she’d been warehoused for a while?”. I did a doodle, then a sketch, wrote a bit of dialogue, developed the sketch….and so it went. Thus the follow-up panel to this one was born...I just ain’t done with it yet. But to wet those greedy whistles out there, I will say that she’s waaaaaaaay fatter in the next image.

You might also be pleased to know that my own greed wasn’t fully satisfied by even that panel, so I’ve started working on yet another one. I still haven’t ironed out all the kinks but, once I get things sorted, I think she’ll be the fattest woman I’ve ever drawn.
