As you can see, our intrepid pair has still been busy feeding and fattening. I had to move this scene to a warehouse or some other voluminous space, because the hungry one had outgrown the kitchen from the previous frames. It sounds like a good problem to have – needing more space to adequately house one’s growing feedee.

I’ve tried this pose before, but never with this degree of success. It’s one of the only effective visual solutions I’ve been able to devise for handling a human figure that’s grown to such colossal fatness. If I left her on the floor, I’d either have to spread her out or keep piling her up. The former looks a bit like a stack of pancakes with a head and hands poking out (not good); the latter looks more like a pile of stuff than a person (also, not good). The “elevated and dangling” approach allows one to circumvent both of those shortcomings plus it keeps the head, hands and feet nicely in view, which the other two approaches fail to do. I’ve doodled variations of the idea (such as having huge a woman on sitting on the side of hill with her belly lolling down the slope) but this is the best I’ve come up with to date.

It’s also fun trying to imagine solutions to some related “practical” problems. If she’s up so high, how can the feeder talk to her feedee? An intercom of sorts would be okay, but a scissor lift has much more hutzpah. If she’s being fed by a machine, how the hell does one get the hose to her mouth? After all, it could fall out and interrupt proceedings. A harness would do the job but that precludes any possible conversations, which isn’t my style. A cool robot arm solves the problem quite nicely, though.

Personally, I think this image kicks ass…and that’s not something I say very often. I’m particularly pleased with the hands and feet; their doughy forms nicely resist being swallowed up by the fat surrounding them. The next/final panel is in the works, but finishing two fully-developed drawings in two days has left me somewhat worn out, so don’t expect it anytime soon. I need sleep too, y’know? Hopefully, she has enough fat on her now to keep you sated for a while.
