Here’s a moment from another idea that never came to fruition. This was going to be a “Paige’s Roommate” style tale with a different protagonist and fattening female friend. As I recall the idea, Laura was going to be a senior in college who ends up rooming with rich lady named Clarise (who conveniently happens to have a feeding penchant). Clarise has gone through several roommates who bailed out after packing on too many pounds for their liking. Laura (a name I like, and therefore use too often) ends up being more enduring than her predecessors, and ends up incredibly fat as a result. This scene was to take place at a special facility that Clarise had been itching to use for years – complete with hospital facilities (one must keep one’s feedee in good health), a huge kitchen, and loads of amenities designed to help a growing girl REALLY grow.

This was one of the first times I tried using Google SketchUp to create a background image for one of my drawings. Fitting a drawing into a rendered space is harder than one might imagine (at least it was for me), and I’m not sure that the look is all that appealing, but it sure beats the onerous task of doing all of it by hand.
