"April" by Caravan Palace - AP Studio Project
This was slated to be done at the end of last trimester but I finally finished it!! Why did I choose to do a triptych. Why. I didn't have to do the series for Painting anymore I could've just left it with Azi. It looked so good without the doves idk. This is gouache with colored pencil over it! This wasn't inspired by the album cover but more the lyrics. The verses are so soft and angelic, even though they're kinda haunting. I had different ideas for this based off the last verse, but I ended up getting this idea and going with it because it was such a clear image in my mind. It's a weird dimension so no sketch/studies for this one^^
