Description
The CFA-123 Wraith is a heavy second generation human fighter, which began development as the mass production version of the CFA-15. Due to the complexity and uniqueness of the CFA-15's transformation systems, most of them were replaced in the CFA-123 with much more conventional systems that had matured over a greater range of operational aircraft. Coupled with the experiences from the Hana War, the result was an aircraft that only thematically resembles the CFA-15, especially in terms of stealthiness and internal payload.
The CFA-123 was adopted as the main fighter of the Earth's space forces, taking over the majority of the CF-118's front line roles. It has the same speed as a FAST Pack equipped CF-118, with heavier armour, and comparable armaments.
The Wraith has successfully met the tactical requirements of the Earth's space forces in operations over the dozen or so years after its introduction, and it is still going strong - with few aircraft able to rival its combined operational performance.
The simple design and matured technologies in it have produced a robust aircraft that has relatively low maintenance costs. It has excellent low speed atmospheric performance. However, due to the aircraft's weight, it isn't as manoeuvrable or nimble as the CF-118 and the other and medium fighter aircraft.

Armaments:
1x dorsal/head beam gun
2x dorsal medium-bore beam guns (able to pop up and fire forward in Combatoid)
2x dorsal weapon pallets (up to 4x AA missiles, or up to 4x micro-missile launchers)
2x arm light beam guns (forearms, fixed rearward in Fighter)
2x air intake mounted large-barrel machine-gun (hips in Combatoid - used for ground strafing)
2x ventral weapon pallets (up to 4x AA missiles, or up to 4x micro-missile launchers - front of legs in Combatoid)
2x engine nacelle side mounted micro-missile phalanx launchers (legs in Combatoid - with extra fuel and ammo clips for the gun pod)
1x 5-barrel Gatling Gun Pod with bayonet (gun is as long as the CF-123's leg!)
6x hard points (3 per wing)
1x dorsal mounting points for a QF-301 or QF-303

Design Notes:
As mentioned, this started from the idea of drawing a mass production version of the CFA-115. I soon ran into a creative wall, until I got the idea to flip the air frame 180°. From their, the design developed at a surprisingly quick pace (one of the fastest, in recent memory).
Soon after finishing it, I played around with a variable wing version (which became the CF-123E), and revisited this design with ideas of making the air-intake (upper leg) and engine nacelle (lower leg) weapon pallets optional FAST Pack equipment that can be replaced with more streamlined extra-fuel packs. The idea is still sloshing around my head.
Nevertheless, I like the design so much that I made it (the CF-123A and E versions) the main fighter of the second series of my manga. Probably because on top of it meeting all of the in-universe requirements, it's got plenty of character, fire power, and is easy (for me!) to draw! (LOL)
