Description
ink wash, acrylic paint, charcoal, oil pastel, scraping, and embossed india inkthis was triggered by a 'discussion' i had with someone that left me pretty infuriated. about a quarter way into working on this, i was beyond the idiot i was first thinking about. a lot of wild imagery was running through my head, and my mood remained frantic throughout.
(note: i just updated this with a new photo of the original. the first time i posted this, i had used a pretty lousy camera.)

Well it's obvious a lot of emotions went into this. There's no need to read the description to see that you were really angry at something or someone
There's a lot of heart put into this, I love it!
When I was in university, two of my teachers really pissed me off. One of them was asking us to... I don't remember what, but anyways, my canvases were always too small according to him. So I really got annoyed, ripped a bunch of large pieces of paper, taped them all with yellow duct tape, put it up on a wall, then took some red and yellow acrylic with black ink and just pounded on it. It turned out being about 10 feet by 5 feet. The teacher watched me do the piece, and I think he had an orgasm while looking at the process lol Seriously though, he saw so much emotion put into it that he could hardly stand in place lol

lol that's so awesome though!!! i mean, maybe it's out of anger and whatnot, but it's sometimes good when things force the emotion out. i've never done anything that was as large as that though. that's gotta be intense!
thanks again though. i still like this piece of mine, but it's very much not where i'm at right now... so it's interesting to look at it now, you know?

thanks!
i wasn't sure how much of that was coming through in the photo. it can be a bit of a pain to take photos of drawings and paintings. something's always a bit off...
