As in the suspension isn't possible because when one row of chains bare more weight then the others start hang lose. but if every chain has a spring on the end before it gets attached to the wall the overall force gets divided more equally over the chains and also makes the suspension more comfortable. 

also, Usual straitjacket and body bag aren't made for suspension. because the fabric is not strong enough.

well, It depends how you look at it. many people have this kind of fantasies. it's okay to have them. But it's not a good idea to act on it. that is without the others consent. if that is a good of an explenation.
