A cookie trap for santa
Todays Theme:
Bait
Since I've never really celebrated Halloween my mind went straight to Christmas! I've never personally set any traps for Santa, but I felt like drawing the trope of a kid falling asleep waiting for Santa because I used to see it all of the times in movies. Plus i thought that a picture like this could give off a nice warm fuzzy feeling. I'm 10/10 always hyped for Christmas.

Also I love the lion bookends like omg! It’s such a unique feature, I feel myself wanting to ask, did you have a pair like that at one time? Or do you still have them even?
Also I noticed the cat eyeing the cookies lol
You: Fall asleep. A few minutes later you feel the rope twitch slightly. Out of instinct and still half asleep, you give it a tug and open your eyes to find your cat trapped at the waist, staring back at you annoyedly with a cookie in its mouth like, “Do you mind?” x3

And nope! We never had lion bookends. We may have had cat ones but honestly if we did it was in my early childhood, so much so that the memory of them are foggy. I always wanted lion ones though! And I guess a part of me still wants them lol ^^'
I love that so much! lol
I could see the parents of the kid running down a flight of stairs or something (after hearing the commotion) saying something like "Oh no! The kitty was trying to help you! He saw Santa taking your cookies and he wanted to help!"
