hello, and thank you! I actually just used acrylics, tho the fine lines (around the eyes, for instance) were done with permanent pen. I'll be entering another contest in December, so there will definately be another one up here if it looks this good.

hi, and thank you!! the figurine is actually a blank vinyl figurine that you can buy at the shop. The brains coming out the back are sculpy, though. The shop is called Uberbot, and it's in the Winter Park Village (look up directions online, go to the store website: [link]
Unless you have a decent body of fine art, I only think you can submit stuff in their gallery when they're doing a contest. That's what I did at least.
Thanks again!

wow... thanks. I did a lot to make him textured... like the jeans... I actually pressed cut up denim into the paint. But I kinda had to wing most of it... I only had a week or two to get it done before the contest! I'm so glad someone appriciates it!

I'd say no taller than 8in... I'm not entirely sure offhand. If you ever visit the Orlando area, I'll take you to go see it.

no i didn't - i saw the contest advertised but i wouldn't have had the time to come up with an adequate submission.
btw, your other work in your gallery is also very good as well.

well thanks! I'm sure you would have done fine... I didn't find out about it until about 8 days before the submission date, and I still came up with something alright (not to mention I managed to snag the last figurine!)
Are you going to enter the tshirt contest they've got going on from now until mid Feb.?

I think the going price right now is $150, however it's negotiable. Since it's at the shop, tho, you probably ought to speak with the owner, since he was probably going to want a percentage for showing it for me. His name is Steve.
... and Thanks!!!
