It seems you don't know what oc means, it means original character so it could be in a story and be a oc at the same time.

I hope I didn't cross a line by thinking that, but I am planning on roleplaying with him.

Sort of he stole the wings and the horn around his neck from other ponies, and used his own type of magics to be able to use the wings and the horn as if they were his own.
