Anyways, introducing Jonah! I've had his design in my sketchbook for a while now, but I never made a fully fledged digital drawing of him until now. Basically, he's the one who teaches Nzo (my sweet alien boy from my previous drawing) about Earth, albeit reluctantly. He's a walking pile of anxiety who's just trying to get through his astronomy major in college. Besides his instability, he's an avid science nerd and loves everything having to do with space. He's very good with keeping promises, and has a deep bond with the few friends he has. He never really believed that aliens would visit Earth anytime soon until Nzo decided to crash his ship near Jonah's dorm like a doofus. Since then, he's been teaching Nzo about the intricacies of Earth and humans. He always has to teach Nzo about the worse parts of humanity, which sucks for him because he knows that there's good sides, but he just has a very hard time seeing them.
Even though Jonah is basically the product of me shoving my school life an anxiety into a character, he's a sweet boy who's just trying his best to get by. I lov him very much
