For the background on this piece: in 2012 there was no Equestria Girls. I had watched the entirety of MLP on YouTube that summer, and was practicing designing and drawing fashion. I created concepts for the fashion of each of the mane 6, as well as Celestia and Luna, which you can find here . When trying to think of projects to work on today, I decided I wanted to recreate these concepts in EQG style vectors!

The issue with these designs is that I created them with human skin tones, while the clothes are the shades of the ponies coats. So, if I go with normal EQG coloring it will look like they're wearing the same colors as their skin is, and it would look weird. So I'm going to go with human skin tones, and if anyone has any issues with the races I choose, I won't hesitate to delete your comments. Let's keep it civil, everypony.

Last, but not least is Luna! I really didn't like what they did with her and Celestia in the movie - their royal roles are reduced down to being principals of a school. Like...couldn't they have been co-mayors of the town or something? I don't really feel like they help out the movies being around all the time, and it wouldn't have really changed anything if they'd been mentioned in passing as doing something else. Cheerilee could have easily been the principal, or even Mayor Mare (though her name would have to be changed ) And Sunset never seemed to react to having Celestia as the principal, though she was the main reason she ran away in the first place. IDK, it just seems to normalize them a little too much. Also, I HATE their EQG hair, so I kept my version of their pony hair for this.

For her dress, I used a lot of transparency because I love her hair and wanted to embody that style. In the original drawing I messed up on her feet and had already inked the lines, so I tried to hide it by drawing in really dark black heels. I changed it to match her pony regalia, but kept it black instead of the light blue like it is in the show.

Anyway, MY FASHION COLLECTION IS FINALLY COMPLETE! There are no more coming after this because it was based on drawings I had done in 2012. So no, there will be no Sunset Shimmer as someone asked. However, in a few days I will post a full compilation piece of everyone to match the original. Thanks for coming along on this ride with me!
