Character: Rarity (My Little Pony)Materials: Minky.
Size: Approx. 11" tall to the top of her head, 13" to the top of her horn.
This poor filly has been sitting around my sewing room with no head for the past few months, and I finally got the thread to embroider her eyes and finish her
Rarity is one of my two favourite ponies (the other being Fluttershy) so making an adorable filly version was a must - but my GOD that mane is frustrating! I wanted to do her without wire, but for the top part of her mane, it just wasn't working. So, her tail and side mane are wire free, but the top part has wire to maintain it's shape.
Rarity is made from minky with machine embroidered eyes and satin stitch details on her horn. As usual, she is for sale in my etsy store: www.etsy.com/listing/152944443β¦ Edit: SOLD.

The top part of her mane has thin wire in it to retain it's shape. The tail and bottom part of her mane are stitched in place. It can be a bit tricky to get it right - there's already a whole bunch of things I'd change if I ever remake her

Rarity is one of my favorites too. I think the reason I like her so much is that she surprised me. I had expected a shallow, self-centered character, and while Rarity is quite in love with herself, she loves those around her more. Your plushy is absolutely ADORABLE.

That's one of the reasons I like her too. MLP tends to take the usual stereotypes and turn them around.
