The perfume pup tail was modelled on the traditional perfume atomizer. It is linked directly to the orbs on the pup and, when squeezed, makes them bark the liquid contained within (though it is recommended not to do this too often as it has been known to cause orb deficiency which makes them very ill!). Pups bark as a sign of defence or to shown affection as their barks generally have a calming effect. Their tails never change shape and every perfume pup has an identically shaped tail (the only thing separating them from being perfectly identical is the colour).
