[Brief overview of the story & setting]
Ruins of Ragnarr is high stakes drama taking place in a fantasy world that mixes elements from dystopian/steampunk societies and the old west.
Ragnarr is a fortress city on the desert plains under a strict military rule. There is great unrest within its walls and a civil war going on between the police class and rebellious citizens.
Located in the desert, environmental conditions are harsh and brutal. Wind and sand storms are frequent, with two suns bearing down in nearly unbearable heat.

Ren is a troubled young man who lives in one of the poorest districts in Ragnarr. He's a prominent member of a rebellion party that is trying to dismantle the police force. His role is acting as scout, messenger, and arsonist.
A person of questionable morals, Ren has a rather cynical & nihilistic view on life, believing that it's all meaningless. He is very cryptic in his speech, never answering a question directly, and generally comes off as silly or weird. The MC just find him creepy.
He experienced a tragedy in his youth that ruined his psyche and broke his heart, causing him to turn to drugs for solace. He has little regard for his own life or the lives of others, making him a dangerous pawn in the city's civil war.

ISTP - Chaotic neutral

Strengths: clever, sneaky, insightful
Weaknesses: physically weak, mentally unstable, unpredictable
