Thank you Nick! 😊 I'm trying to pop on and off the sites occasionally but we are actually on the road this week/weekend visiting family and spending some much needed time away from everything else. Glad to hear you're out & about Wondered perhaps if that illustration idea was a bit too edgy for you, then again I think it has good potential for tugging at the audience's emotional strings.

Just a week left otherwise before my trip to Utah, getting super pumped! Not to mention running around like a headless chicken squeezing out every last image I can.

Would be glad to elaborate on the illustration concept if you want to work on it, but wanting to make it as simple as possible beyond my initial email in that it basically combines 3 elements: Death by tree hanging + beautiful sunset sky + angel wing clouds. Thinking even the hanging convict & tree form can be reduced to simple silhouettes.

Sorry I've been missing in action these days. So busy... house is a mess needing to be cleaned, Ryan's busy trying to get everything needed for the Navy, commissions from John and a stack of almost 30 blank variant covers needing sketches before the first of May so I have work to sale at my booth for Free Comic Book Day... sorry, lots going on.

Hope you have a fantastic trip to Utah! Stay safe and keep me posted! Oh, looks like you'll have two new friends in Maryland for about 8 months soon. Yep, it's been confirmed, Ryan will be stationed first in Illinois for 8 weeks, home for a short time then on to Maryland just outside of Baltimore for about 8 months. After that, possibly Alaska. Ready for some company? 😜

I definitely want to do this commission idea. I really like the idea of a sillouette vs super detailed. The sillouette will allow more focus on the wings and sky. Sounds like a beautiful idea. Thank you for thinking of me for it. 😊
